TSC Meeting Notes: Strategic Plan
December 16, 2009

TSC Members Present: Daren A.C. Carollo, Diablo Theatre Company; Akilah Crossdale, The Jewish Theater; Rachel Fink, Berkeley Rep; Jeanette Harrison, AlterTheater; Clark Lewis, Roustabout Theatre; Jessica Love, CounterPULSE; Lisa Mallette, City Lights Theatre; Leslie Martinson, TheatreWorks; Emily Morrison, California Shakespeare Theater; Jim Neuner, A.C.T.; Lisa Tromovich, Shakespeare’s Associates; Marissa Wolf, Crowded Fire.

I. 10:17am Meeting called to order

II. Meeting and Strategic Plan Overview
· This strategic plan is different because a lot has been changing with TBA and the world, so this has been a very comprehensive project. TBA is looking to get a lot clearer about where we are and how we can serve the whole community.
· This strategic plan includes the audience as part of the theatre community.
· The format of the written plan is supposed to be less boring. It’s like a "play", with Acts, Cast of Characters, etc.

III. TSC Member Input.
· The TSC members go around the table, responding with the 3 things that struck each of them the most, be it positive, negative or surprising.

· Staff discusses any last thoughts.

· The Big List is hitting the 1,000,000 mark.
· New Works Fund will go back to supporting two $8,000 grants.
· TBA database restructuring is underway, but barely begun.
